Department of SER

Integration of PwDs into the mainstream of society is a challenge and an important aspect in the process of total rehabilitation for the people with disability. The department with its manpower of Lecture-SER, Social Worker, Vocational Counsellor, Clinical Psychologist, Special Educator and Extension Service Officer are providing teaching, training and rehabilitation services in institute and outreach. The department has following unit: a) Social Work b) Vocational Counseling, Guidance & Placement c) Extension Service d) Clinical Psychology e) Special Education The department is providing socio economic rehabilitation services through indoor, outdoor and outreach services and also activated community based rehabilitation services for the people with disability in different unreached areas of the country. During the year department rendered its rehabilitation services to 2151 PwDs.
