SWACHHATA PAKHWADA
The National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (Divyangjan) [NILD], Kolkata, under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, successfully observed Swachhata Pakhwada from 16th July 2026 to 31st July 2026 in accordance with the directions of the Ministry. The fortnight-long campaign aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, environmental sustainability and community participation among officers, staff, students and stakeholders of the Institute.
