WORLD PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY
On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day 2026, the Department of Physiotherapy, National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (Divyangjan), Kolkata, organized a series of awareness activities and educational programmes highlighting the important role of physiotherapy in cardiovascular health and the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of stroke from 05th to 08th September 2026. The theme of World Physiotherapy Day 2026 was “Physiotherapy in Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke.”
